Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actress. Her most famous role is Skyler White on the AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and in 2014 for Outstanding supporting actress in a Drama Series. She was Jean Ward and Martha Bullock and Martha Bullock, respectively, on The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in Love with Acting in the Preparatory stage before moving with her family to Ohio. Her studies in theatre were through Northwestern University. A semester was spent at the British American Drama Academy. Anna had a brief stint working in Chicago theatre before moving on to film and TV roles. Anna's debut role was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. After guest appearances as a Star in several TV Shows and films, such as Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 1990's and was later given the role of Jean Ward as part of The Practice. In 2000, she was placed in Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler was Her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully was the Deadwood film and a few other films were also starring her. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. Gunn also appeared in the podcast audio drama of four episodes Numbered days, which was released in 2022. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's marriage to Skyler. Walter White's life story as well as the stress on the relationship he has with Skyler can be seen in the series.
